Report by John On the 2nd Sunday in May 2013, I visited Stanley again. It was a rainy day and this time we first visited the Correctional Services Museum. Although it is small, it records the full history of jails in Hong Kong since the 19th century. I believe it is a good reminder to us not to commit a crime, any time, anywhere.
After staying there for 30 minutes, we proceeded to Stanley Market. This is a very famous and crowded tourist attraction. A tip to foreign visitors: the products there are not good value-for-money.
We arrived at the Saffron Bakery Cafe around 3pm.
The EM pinball - Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy (Bally 1975) - was unchanged since my last visit in April. It was still HK$20 (US$2.60, €1.93) for two 5-ball games, and its condition was satisfactory.
The only difference from the last visit was that it was very hot in the cafe. I played this pinball for two hours until I became totally wet.
Finally, I gifted all of my credits to two pretty little girls, since they had been waiting some time for their turn . Surprisingly, they are also good pinball players.
The fun day ended at 5pm, when we returned home for our home-made dinner. (^o^)
