Yet more information on Stern's newest game - Austin Powers. This time the news is from Stern themselves with a press release and two publicity shots
There is little new information in the press release beyond the details we have brought you previously, but details the 7 main shots of the game and the pictures show the spiral sticker on the Time Machine spinning disc.
The full press release reads as follows: Melrose Park, IL - Stern Pinball's long awaited groovy new pinball AUSTIN POWERS™ is about to be released! This powerful pinball license is based upon the two hit movies, "Austin Powers™ International Man of Mystery" and "Austin Powers™ The Spy Who Shagged Me", both starring Mike Myers. A third movie is already in the works and will increase game earnings again. AUSTIN POWERS ™ has exceptional custom speech, featuring movie script and speech. The game is programmed with both adult and family settings. This game has features that are easily understood and achievable, while at the same time having more difficult objectives for moderate and advanced players to demonstrate their skills.
