NEW NEW STOCK?

Story dated 24th August, 2002.

It looks as if former William's game designer John Popadiuk Jr is to start his own pinball design and manufacturing company Chicago Flipper.

John Popadiuk broke into the big time when he designed Bally's 1994 game World Cup Soccer and after that designed Theatre of Magic, Tales of the Arabian Nights, Cirqus Voltaire and the final WMS produced game Star Wars Episode 1.

Famous for his grandiose themes and use of magnets, John is also working on replacement neon tubes for Cirqus Voltaire - this time using multiple colours in the one tube.

Pinball News will bring you more details about Chicago Flipper when we get them but you can keep an eye on their website at www.chicagoflipper.com - although there is only the above image on the site at the moment.
