UK PINBALL SHOW

Story dated 31 January, 2004

With only a week to go, the UK is getting ready for its first dedicated pinball show for more than three and a half years.

The Pinball Extravaganza 2004 takes place next weekend 7th & 8th February at the Winter Gardens in Margate and we have some more exclusive details.

All the stands have been filled and in addition to those exhibitors mentioned previously, coin-op suppliers Harry Levy and Coin Action will be there with games for sale and Happ Controls will be there with parts and spares.

Replacement displays will be available from the German company PinLED who will be showing their range of low-voltage LED replacements for seven-segment, alpha-numeric and 128X16 dot matrix displays. We reviewed these in our Pinball Expo coverage and they do really need to be seen to be believed.

The competition will form a key part of the show but there will also be special prize given for the rarest game.

The show has been heavily promoted in the local press with a series of articles in the Thanet Times.

Naturally, Pinball News will be there for both days of the show, so look out for our detailed report from Pinball Extravaganza 2004.
