PINBALL PICNIC |
Date: 6th December 2009 I couldn’t make it to Lloyd’s in time for ribs, or for the start of the tournament; not even in time for desert. But, I did find out and see enough to report it to you.
The chosen four games were set on free play at 5pm. Famous Dave’s ribs arrived at about 6pm; without me. The pinball tournament started at 7pm; again without me. I’d like to note that the event and all of the food were both free to those who joined in with the picnic fun. Dave was the designated “Esposito”. He ran a double elimination tournament where games and players were chosen by luck of the draw.
Dave’s wife, Sandy, made apple strudel bars.
Here are a few of the events details.
The final round came down to a long battle between two Pinball Picnic regulars, John and Dave.
Dave was the big winner; earning $75 cash. John took second place; and $25 cash.
Dates for Lloyd’s next pinball events are in the Diary section, so start making your plans to visit him now.
