PINBALL PICNIC

Unlike last time, for this Pinball Picnic I was able to attend and even compete in the entire event. I share my experience with you, faithful readers of Pinball News.

Before, during and after the pinball tournaments at the Pinball Picnic, a few ToPS tournaments were running. The ToPS games are listed below in alphabetical order.

There was a ToPS tournament running on Batman.

The pre-event dinner arrived at about 6pm.

Dave brought in cole slaw and Mancow brought in potato salad.

And, of course, Lloyd had ribs delivered from Famous Dave’s.

But one of the attendees, Diane, is spotlighted because she “brought it”. As, she brought in fresh fruit and cookies. Also, she brought her A-game by taking first place in the Women’s Division!

As the female player who advanced the farthest, Diane won a $50 cash prize.

The pinball tournament started at about 7:30pm. The tournament was best-two-of-three, luck of the draw.

I’d like to note that both the event and all of the food were free to those who joined the Picnic fun.

Lloyd ran the double elimination pinball tournament.

The winner of the Loser’s Bracket was TED; winning a $50 cash prize.

The final round came down to Dan (on the left) and Chris (on the right). Chris won second place and a $50 cash prize, while Dan won first place and a $100 cash prize.
