VIERZON 2007

Date: 28th & 29th April 2007.
Location: Parc des Expositions, Vierzon, France.

Report by Pascal Descloux

The 2007 Vierzon pinball show took place this weekend, which turned out to be a hot end to the month of April.

Vierzon is located around 120 miles south of Paris and combines two large shows; one for pinballs, jukeboxes and games, and the other one for retro US cars, Harley Davidsons and other retro items such as tin signs, gas pumps, etc...

Entry to the event cost just €3.50 and the show is now so popular around 12,000 people made the trip to the 3,500 square metres Parc des Expositions over the weekend.

The theme of the event this year was the automobile, so every pinball game which had a car on its backglass was represented, from the oldest ones to the very newest ones.

Rare collector pieces were exhibited to the public, such as this French pinball - the Rally Girl from Rally...

and this animated backglass of Midway's, on the Flying Turns game.

Obviously many sellers had a stand where you could buy accessories, parts or even a full pinball machine...

In conclusion, it was a very successful show, one that was greatly enjoyed by the public for those two days.
