THE CAMBIE |
Location: 300 Cambie St, Vancouver, BC V6B 2N3, Canada Report by John In September 2013, my wife and I had our first trip to the east coast of the USA (New York City and Orlando), and to Canada (Vancouver). On our second day in Vancouver we visited the Grouse Mountain and Stanley Park. We were lucky since it was a sunny day.
In the early evening, we arrived Cambie street and took photos of the Gastown Steam Clock.
Then, after walking along the Cambie Street for 2 minutes, we easily located The Cambie pub on a street corner.
This is a Canadian style pub. Although it was only around 7pm, it was already crowded with guests.
They had two games.
Surprisingly, the two pinballs were both in excellent condition. Therefore, I spent a total of two hours in this pub. As usual, it was not necessary to order a drink to play them. However, I made an exception and ordered a drink, since I wanted to enjoy the atmosphere there.
We left the pub around 9pm and had a late dinner in a nearby Japanese restaurant, Momosushi. The meal was delicious and a reasonable price.
