MONO MANIA
SHOPPING CENTRE

Location: Asahi, Japan - 三重郡朝日町小向691-1
Report date: April 2012

Having brought us reports from Nagoya later in the year, John - our roving reporter - looks back to an visit he made to the city of Nagoya in Japan earlier in the year.

In April 2012, my wife and I visited the city of Nagoya in Japan during the Easter holidays.

My last but one pinball location was the Mono Mania Shopping Centre.

This shopping centre is located in an industrial area of the city of Asahi, which was some distance away from central Nagoya.

Although the pinball was hidden away in a small corner of a trendy clothes store inside the shopping centre, it was not difficult for me to find it.

The appearance of the pinball was quite good and, in general, its working condition was acceptable, although the two flippers were not powerful enough.

I played this pinball for sixty minutes.

The prices of products in this shopping centre were quite low since most of them were second-hand. The variety of products was quite wide, including items such as shoes, clothes, handbags and various electrical appliances.

As I have discovered, these kinds of shopping centres are quite popular in Japan, since its economy has been depressed for many years.
