MOVIELAND ARCADE |
| Location: 906 Granville Street, Vancouver, British Colombia, V6Z 1L2, Canada Report by John In September 2013, my wife and I had our first trip to the east coast of the USA (New York City and Orlando), and to Canada (Vancouver). After leaving the London Pub, I continued my journey to the next pinball location, Movieland Arcade, around 9pm. The arcade is located in the entertainment area where a number of pubs and discos are around. Unlike other areas in the Vancouver city, it is always crowded with those never want to go home. (^o^)
The arcade had 8 pinball games.
Surprisingly, I found the pinball Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. Tthis was the first time I had ever seen this machine. However, it was only in acceptable condition.
The decoration of this arcade was quite old. But, of course, that is not important for a pinball lover. The cost of each game was only CAD 0.50, which was below the average cost of CAD1.00 per game in other arcades and pubs in the city of Vancouver. Overall, the pinballs were in acceptable conditions. Other than pinballs, there were also a number of vintage video games.
I also found my favourite one, Police 911. However, there were some problems with its gun tracking facility. Therefore, I was out of track a couple of times during the game. (/_\)
I had stayed there for around one hour before walking back to the hotel – the Comfort Inn. The first fun day in the Vancouver city was at an end.
