Pinball News's roving reporter John heads to Japan and the Odaiba Itchome Shopping Street in the nation's capital, Tokyo which recreates a typical street scene from the '60s and '70s.

Odaiba (台場) is one of the most popular destinations in Tokyo for both Japanese people and foreigners. Besides its shopping and other attractions, Odaiba's wide open spaces and location in Tokyo Bay also makes it one of the most scenic and relaxing recreation areas in Tokyo.

In early 2012, I visited the Odaiba Itchome Shopping Street (台場一丁目商店街) in Odaiba.

It had total 9 pinball machines - Batman (DE), Big Hit, Lethal Weapon 3, The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars (DE), Street Fighter II, Super Mario Bros. Mushroom World, Surfer and Top Score.

In general, the working conditions are good. I like the left most pinball machine - Big Hit - the most since it was simple and easy to get both a replay and the high score.
