SPORT BOWLING |
Location: Sport Bowling Centre, Shinsakae 2-45-26 Naka-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan During his trip to Nagoya, John - our roving reporter - managed to fit in visits to several pinball locations. In this report, he tells us what he found at the Sport Bowling Centre. On my last day in Nagoya - 25th December, 2012 - I visited my third and final pinball location - Sport Bowling Centre in the Tsurumai district of the city.
The most convenient way to get there was by the JR train. After arriving Tsurumai station in just 10 minutes, it took me another 7 minutes to walk to the Sport Bowling Centre.
There were two pinballs; The Lord of the Rings and Elvis, but the former was under repair.
The condition of Elvis pinball was good and the replay score was low. As a result, I could get replays again and again.
Unfortunately, the dot matrix display was only 50% visible so that I could not correctly input my initials for my high score's record. It was sad indeed.
Apart from bowling and pinballs, there were also billiards and video games there. It was a surprise that quite so many guests were there, since it was not a public holiday in Japan.
I went back to the hotel at midday and then departed for the airport.
I had my lunch in the airport before boarding as a full stop to my pinball journey to Japan in December 2012. \(^o^)/
