In November 2014, my wife and I took a trip to Australia (Sydney, Gold Coast, Brisbane and Cairns). Gold Coast was the second destination of our trip.

Both the light rail and the AquaDuck vehicles are the landmarks of Gold Coast.

Timezone Surfers Paradise is located on level 1 of the Paradise Centre shopping mall.

There is a total of ten pinballs in Timezone. Six are ordinary pinballs on which you can earn replays.  They are:

• The Walking Dead LE, (Stern, 2014)
• The Walking Dead Pro (Stern, 2014)
• AC/DC Luci Edition (Stern, 2013)
• Star Trek LE (Stern, 2014)
• Mustang LE, (Stern, 2014)

This was my first time seeing The Walking Dead LE, Mustang LE and Iron Man Pro Vault edition.   They are amazing!

The cost per game is AUD1.0 per game (US$0.78/€0.72/£0.52) and AUD2.0 for 3 games.

Good value at one Australian dollar a game or three games for two dollars

There also four additional Pro model Stern pinballs fitted with ticket dispensers. You can win up to 150 tickets per game but you cannot get any replays.

It was very lucky that I could get the grand champion score on the Mustang Pro. \(^o^)/

There were also other games for both children and adults.

More amusement games

Basketball, dancing, air hockey and driving games

Timezone Surfers Paradise is definitely a paradise for pinball lovers.  My only suggestion is to have more different game titles instead of having two or three machines with the same title (e.g. The Walking Dead Pro & The Walking Dead LE).
