Report by John

In November 2014, my wife and I took a trip to Australia (Sydney, Gold Coast, Brisbane and Cairns).  Brisbane was the third destination on our trip.

After unloading our luggage at the hotel, we immediately proceeded to the first pinball location - Timezone on Albert Street.

It took us around 10 minutes to travel from the Central Station to the Queen Street Mall.

Timezone had four pinballs. They were:

  • Big Hurt (Gottlieb, 1995)

  • AC/DC (Stern, 2012)
  • The Lord of the Rings (Stern, 2003)

  • The Simpsons Pinball Party (Stern, 2003)

This was the first time I had played the game Big Hurt.  It is one of the most amazing games I have seen.

It seems that the Brisbane Pinball Club holds a regular pinball tournament at Timezone on the last Sunday and Tuesday of each month. If I were living in Brisbane I would certainly like to join it.

As usual, Timezone has other fun games.  The ones my wife and I loved the most were Pac-Man Smash and Horse Play.

After playing the Pac-Man Smash with my wife for around 5 minutes, I was the eventual winner (the right player). (^o^)

However, I sweated a lot and was totally exhausted. I needed to take a rest of a few minutes before finally departing. (/_\)
