The John Popadiuk/Zidware title Magic Girl appeared to be fated never to go into production.

After a five year development cycle there was little tangible to show for all the time or the hundreds of thousands of dollars sunk into it. Legal action and potential bankruptcy seemed to herald a disappointing end to the Magic Girl story.
