CHIPS

Location: 東京都品川区東品川4-12-4 オーバルガーデンシヨツ ブ &レストラン B1F (Shinagawa, Japan)
Report date: Spring 2012 - see important update below

Continuing his series of reports from Japan, our roving reporter John finds yet another restaurant with pinball on the menu.

In early 2012, I visited Tokyo on my leisure trip.

After leaving the Odaiba Itchome Shopping Street (台場一丁目商店街) in Odaiba, I continued to my next pinball location - Chips casual restaurant at Shinagawa(品川).

We arrived at the restaurant around 3:00pm.  The restaurant was located on the platform of a big building. The surroundings were clean and elegant.

There were two pinballs inside - a Rescue 911 & World Challenge Soccer.

Rescue 911 was a funny game, since there was a small helicopter occasionally flying over the playfield area, as you can see in this video.

The two pinballs were located in two different areas of the restaurant, and
they were positioned close to some dinner tables, so it would affect other guests sitting near the machines.

Luckily, it was already outside hours and there were only few guests there.  As a result I could freely enjoy playing these two pinballs without disturbing anyone.

I had stayed there for two hours and left in the early evening.

Surprisingly, although the meals were not expensive, they were very delicious \(^o^)/.

I strongly recommend the Chips restaurant to everyone, no matter whether you are pinball lovers or not.
